Silence

What does silence mean?

Peaceful atmosphere can be an intrinsic area that the soul will be able to connect its thoughts to God. In silence a very useful thought  – an elevated thought to do something good – arises, and as it emerges there comes the confident feeling that it will happen for sure. God gives strength to my thoughts in silence and others give help and cooperation to support the thought and make it flourish. This is the method with which God fulfills His task of world renewal. Living in the world of noise requires a lot of attention on the practice of silence. Are the various sounds asking how will I cope, or how will I do something deafening to the ears? Develop the practice of being peaceful in silence. Thoughts of fear, doubt, and uncertainty pollute my inner peace. In silence, when I am quiet and calm, I will find solutions. Knowing this brings a sense of safety and security. – Dadi Janki
